Festivals
All Sundays of the year are festivals of our Lord Jesus Christ for they are the weekly celebration of his resurrection.
Principal Festivals: Easter Day*, The Ascension of Our Lord, The Day of Pentecost, The Holy Trinity, Christmas Day and The Epiphany of Our Lord.
*Easter Day is always the first Sunday after the full moon that falls on or after
March 21 (Vernal Equinox). Easter cannot occur before March 22 or after April 25.
Lesser Festivals celebrated at Trinity: The Baptism of Our Lord, Transfiguration Day, Holy Cross Day, Reformation Day, All Saints Day and Christ the King.
Days of Special Devotion: Ash Wednesday and the days of Holy Week (including Palm Sunday, Maundy Thursday & Good Friday). |
